Ok here is the next question....
I have created a movie with a sort of desktop type theme to the first scene. when one of the buttons on the desktop has been selected it calls another movie that overlays the desktop in much the same way that windows does. however when this happens and the user scrolls over the new movie, the buttons under that movie (ie on the desktop) are still active even though covered by the new movie.
this obviously causes all sorts of problems. is there some way that I can get around this problem without major reconstruction?.. I thought of making the entire background of the new movie as an inactive button and this works but you get the finger mouse pointer all the time and I don't like breaking the rules like that...
to see my problem, go to...
and select on of the buttons on the bottom right of the screen (links or resources etc.)
its a bit messy at the moment so please forgive me..
