Will de-registering an i2004 ip phone clear the stored values in the phone and return it to an "out-of-box" state?

I'm planning to disconnect several i2004s from a BCM50 3.0 and connect them to a BCM50 6.0 with a different extension number scheme.

I've got Enable Registration, Enable Global Password and Assign Auto DN all ticked in the new 6.0.

de-registering" any BCM IP phones will only disconnect them from the BCM system. The values stored in the IP phone will still remain.

You will probably just need to change the S1 IP address that contains the old IP address and add in the new one.

As you are going to a later system release, then the phones that register will most likely receive a newer release of firmware on the initial boot up.
