I have installed Visual studio to my Server. Within my VFP98 folder I have a database (mrcdata.dbc).
I have also created forms using tables within mrcdata that reside in VFP98. I would now like to create an application (Reinsurance.pjx). I used the wizard to create the app. I want to include the forms I previously created into my new application. I opened my reinsurance project, click on forms and clicked the “Add” button. I typed in the name of my previously created form. When I call up the form for editing I find that I have lost my data environment. Is the DE not a part of the form?

Hi LenaS:
Maybe you were prompted to address the location of your data, and you click Ignore. VFP solves that ignoring then the cursors in your DE. Actually, DataEnvironment is a member of the Form object, and in normal condition it goes with your form wherever you take it.
