Hi all,

I have a DDS4 Tape Drive and have been given some DAT72 Tapes, can anyone tell me if these are compatible?

I have tried reading the label from them in backup exec by running an inventory but it tells me there is no media in the drive?!

Thanks.

Gavin.

Gavin,

DAT72 tapes are not compatible with DDS4 tape drives. It works the other so you can read/write DDS3 and DDS4 tapes in a DAT72 drive.
