Hi there

I have very little knowledge in this area but am needing to figure out the best way to do things.

At present our company is using a dds 2 drive to backup from a HP3000. We are setting up a Disaster Recovery HP3000 which has a dds 1 tape drive. Now I am guessing that these drives are not backwards compatible but does anybody have any suggestions or options I should consider?

My vague action plan is to take a spare dds 2 drive from another server that we have and stick it into the DR HP3000 but having never done this before I am a little unsure where to begin.

Well all help and comments are most appreciated.
