I have recently updated my NT4.0 with latest security patches. I have also applied Service Pack 6a, however, whenever I run Windows Media player or a screen saver tries to start I get message like "Initialisation of dynamic link library C:\WINNT\System32\DDRAW.DLL failed. The process is terminating abnormally"
I think it is an ActiveX problem which NT does not support very well but WinNT4.0 SP6a is supposed to include ActiveX v 3.0a
I would be grateful for assistance as it is very annoying.

DDraw.dll is a directX dll which is used by Windows to create visual effects and nothing to do with ActiveX. Try installing the latest version of DirectX (I think it's version 8) and that should fix your problem.
