When I run my DirectX (8.0) programs for the second time, it crashes over DDHelp (guess that's DirectDraw)
'New' commercial games like Morrowind also crash occasionally.

The same programs run fine on the computer of a friend of mine.

So, I guess this means the memory of my PC is too limited. I only have about 128 RAM, which isn't much.

If memory is indeed the problem, should I add additional RAM cards (eg. to 512 RAM), and/or should I invest in buying a new Video Card?

PS: My desktop is a PII 850

Hi,

Thanks for the link, that problem has been holding me back for a long time, so I'm glad I got a sollution for it.

Probably wasn't a lot of work looking that up ;-) but that doesn't matter. What does matter is that I can continue my coding frenzy again. :p So, a star to you.

Thanks
