DDE and Internet explorer

Can a DDE command read the current URL from the Internet Explorer window ?
I found that
Chan = DDEInitiate("IExplore", "

http://WWW_OpenUrl")

can make IE ready to display a specified site with
tmp = DDERequest(Chan, "

http://www.specifiedsite"),

but are there any other topics
