I saw a post on this a little while ago but can't seem to find it now.
We are running Metaframe XP FR2, Primarily connecting via NFuse1.7, the servers are HP-DL360 G2 for NFuse server and a DL580 G3 for Metaframe. Both are Win2000 SP3
On the Metaframe server we are getting a DCOM error on a regular bases:
Unable to start a DCOM Server: {E63F16AA-7C16-4697-826C-98B7A5092299}. The error:
"The system cannot find the file specified. "
Happened while starting this command:
L:\Program Files\Citrix\system32\Ica PassThrough\ssoncom.exe -Embedding
and on the NFuse servers we are getting:
Application popup: dllhost.exe - Application Error : The instruction at "0x77fcb5bf" referenced memory at "0x00000000". The memory could not be "written".
Click on OK to terminate the program
When the Application popup appears, (multiple times per day) you have to click on OK on the NFuse server in order for users to access the web client.
I have installed the latest updates from Microsoft on all servers, including the security update that was supposed to fix the DLLHost issue.
Interesting event was that the backup NFuse box did not get this error until we redirected users to it to "fix" the primary. Now they both get the error, regardless of primary or secondary status.
The users are connecting both locally and through a 45Mb DS3.
