DCOMCNFG.EXE shows uninstalled com

I was testing some DCOM I wrote, made a packige with the pdw and installed it.
Configured the DCOM with DCOMCNFG.EXE.
Later I removed the DCOM (with control panel - add remove software) and installed another version of the DCOM with the same name (using project compatibility).
When I started DCOMCNFG.EXE my DCOM appeared twice in the list (one wich I installed and one wich I removed).
Do I need to remove some sort of list file wich DCOMCNFG.EXE uses or is the DCOM not removed when I use uninstall (the exe file was removed after uninstalling).

Running something like RegClean (downloadable from the microsoft website) will remove orphaned keys from the registry. This should stop the old version appearing in DCOMCNFG.
