Hi,

I have a Windows XP sp2 machine that has the following error.

The run-time environment has detected an inconsistency in its internals state. This seems to be a com+ error. I have been into dcomcnfg and when I go in to, Component Services, Computers it will crash.

Does anyone know what might be causing this?

Best wishes

Michael

I have no clue what that error means but regardless did a search to see what I could come up with.

Also just to be safe make sure you have all windows updates. Other than that im clueless on this one, sorry lol.

This article makes a brief mention of a similar error about a third of the way down the long page, and under the paragraph heading, "Event Log Errors Related to this issue:".
