Hi,

I'm thinking of converting my client / server technology currently using winsock and *NO* COM to a DCOM server/client relationship.

However i could possibly be passing large amounts of data such as big arrays of doubles etc.

Would there be any advantage to using DCOM ?

If it's already working OK, I'd leave it as is. If you've got some speed issues, look at going to COM+ as you can then scale out (add more application servers). As a result, individual transactions will be slower, but you'll be able to handle more of them concurrently.
