Hello,

I recently deployed a VB application that uses ADO controls to some Win95 machines. I had to run the usual DCOM and MDAC before the actual application installation and everything worked great. PDW was used to create the setup package.

The problem is happening on WinNT machines that have Office 2000 on them. I get errors with MSADO15.DLL. This made me think - should I install DCOM and MDAC on the WinNT machines as well ? I thought I did not have to, but maybe I am wrong.

Could someone please clarify ?

Thanks,

You should have all the same versions of MDAC on all the client machines running your app. Which installer are you using for your setup packages? VB Package/Deploy Wizard will do the upgrade for you if included.
