Can we use HTTP tunnelling for connecting DCOM over internet ?

A client open to internet is used to access the server hosting IIS and MTS, which is in a private network. Http Tunneling was used to access the components in the server. The client is able to reach the components but fails to create an object, with a message "Object Required". In MTS console the green ball keeps rotating and the status view shows 1,1,0 for Objects, Activated and In Call respectively.

Since the client is outside the domain of the server, does this has to do something with the authentication of components with NT server/domain ?

I'm after this for almost a week and is stuck at this point....

Any idea how to overcome this block ????

the question you posted seem like you knew how to implement dcom through internet
do you actually know the way how to implement dcom through internet not intranet

example:
i have a dcom server which is deploy(install) in USA and i just deploy(install) the dcom client program in malaysia. would it work??

how about the dcom server side having the firewall. can it still work??

if you got answer plz let us know.

thank in advance
