Hope someone can help.
We have 3 Windows 2000 Servers, one is a domain controller, one is the DNS server, and the third is a member server. All have been updated with Service Pack 4. The problem we are having is with the member server. Every minute the event viewer display the following error
Access denied attempting to launch a DCOM Server using DefaultLaunchPermssion. The server is: {<GUID>} The user is <user name>/<computer name>
Event ID - 10003
The user name and computer name it states are unavailable....
Our network eventually seems to grind to a halt and needs a reboot...
Any ideas on rectifying this problem, or what is happening would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
