Dcom Error in Windows XP when opening Outlook Mail Client

When opening OE6, in services/event viewer/system, I get this error:

Unable to start a DCOM server
{FB7199AB-79BF-11D2-8D94-0000F875C541}

Now, after searching the registry I see OE6 seems to be calling on the Microsoft Messenger Service that was on my system by default after upgrading to XP.

I removed messenger, why is it still trying to access that program? should I delete that entire registry key? (I know that may be a dumb question :)

At this point all I did was remove the entries under InprocServer32 & localServer32 To keep OE6 from calling on the messenger service. I did this because after removing messenger OE6 was extremely slooooooooooow to start.

Any help would be appreciated :)

Btw, I am on a dial up connection and I am not on a LAN or Network with this PC. I am using XP pro.
