DCom config ...

Hi,

After registering a dll, it creates a new entry in Dcom Config... however in the applications Tab (of this utility) I only see the APPlication Id of my dll... I would like to see there something like the name of the dll or something like that, because seeing only the APP Id it´s hard to know which of them is my dll... I need to go search the registry for each app ID

How can I register the dll and change that APP ID?

Hello,
As far as I know under AppID key the Default field must be set to the name you want.

Hi,

Yep, I already realized that. However to do that I need to edit the registry. It should be a way of do that automatically, as soon as I register the dll.

Maybe that field will get a name only when I put the dll into MTS... I dont´t know.
