DCOM and XP

I have one service that start at boot time and launch a server (in C++).

The launching user it's 'SYSTEM'

If a try to launch a client (in VB) another server starts, the client doesn't connect at the server previously started.

I have this problem only in XP.

Any suggest?

I think it has to do with how the services run. Try checking that the service is allowed to interact with the desktop and thus the current logged in user.
