Hi.

I'd need help the following question. We have an application which is using a DCOM object. It's working properly behind our firewall on the Intranet. We have an external dial up connection too. Our server, which has an external IP, is behind the firewall, but only the http protocol is enabled.
When our app. try to use DCOM from the external dial up connection over the iternet, it doesn't work.
Do we need setup anything else on firewall?
(sorry my poor english)

You need to post in the firewall forum. When you think about it, it would make sense that your firewall won't allow the DCOM connection from outside. Thats the whole point of firewalls, to stop certain types of traffic.

Look into using some forum of messaging service to connect between machines, something like MQSeries
Cal
