DCOM 6min timeout only on Windows NT4 *Server* ?

Hello,

I have a DCOM Service running on NT 4 *SERVER* . For the 6 min. RPC Timeout problem, I start on clientside a worker-thread, that does a "ping" IServerInferface->Ping()[intervall below 3 min].

This mechanism works quit good on NT *WORKSTATION* but on NT *SERVER* the ping call will be ignored or something. After 6 min I get lost the connection :-( . Do you know similar occurences e.g. W2K ?
