We are currently setting up a network with NT servers within two different locations, that are connected by a T1 line and Routers. All the NT Servers are located within one location and I would like to broadcast DHCP to both locations. I can set up DHCP within the same location as the servers but how do I get it across the T1 to the other workstations? Any help with this would be great.

Thanks,

John M.

I would install a DHCP server in both subnets...
(assuming that both sides of your T1 are in a different subnet)

To answer your question: enable BootP forwarding on the routers so they will pass DHCP broadcasts.

My suggestion:

Firstly, it's not a good idea to bradcast DHCP over your WAN. Loads of unnecessary network overhead. Much better to have different subnets at each site, with a DHCP server at each site. "A sure sign of an impending nervous breakdown is the firm belief that one's work is terribly important."
