Can some explain to me what NCID on this message? Also wht is IMSG CONN ACK mean? Thank you for you help

DCH 24 IMSG SETUP REF 00008015 CH 24 21 TOD 10:22:06
FEAT :NAS
FEAT :NCID
PROGRESS: ORIG ADDR IS NOT ISDN
CALLING #:5913 NUM PLAN: PRIVATE
CALLED #:1075660 NUM PLAN: PRIVATE

DCH 24 IMSG CONN ACK REF 00008015 CH 24 21 TOD 10:22:10

I am not sure about the NCID, but the DCH message is this:

IMSG --> Incomming Message
CONN ACK --> Connection acknowledgement
REF 00008015 --> Call reference number
CH 24 21 --> Loop 24, channel 21
TOD --> Time of day.

Some of this you may already know, but this is what I can offer. The message is simply an acknowledgement from the far end of that call.

Hope this helps,

Scott M.

NCID: This is Call ID as in call number (2ab0) at the far end. It is used to track calls for things like TAT and TRO that the CS1K or 11c-81c can do to simplify the call path.

If you have HLOC programmed in the NET of the customer data block, the Call ID also includes this information, so you could tell what node it originated from.
