Hi folks,

How do i get into DCA-Service mode on a DT412?
Is there anyone who can tell me?

6.4.6.1 Prerequisites
In order to be able to use test functions, the test-func box has to be checked in the special menu entered by pressing 40022 in the General Settings menu. Remember to deactivate the test function after testing. A test function is activated by holding the 0..9 hot key for some time. This prints the test information on the display. The information will go off after timeout.

6.4.6.2 Long-click 1
Press and hold key 1. This displays some variables used when roaming and doing hand-over.




The values indicated are:

1 RFL MARM roaming flag.
2 HFL MAQUA handover flag.
3 EHOS External handover status.
4 HD External handover domain received.

6.4.6.3 Long-click 2
Press and hold key 2. This displays PARK for the subscriptions. For more than one subscription, press the key 2 more than once to display the next subscription info.




The values indicated are:

1 000CA00C38 IPDI.
2 00344522 PARK.

6.4.6.4 Long-click 3
Press and hold key 3. This displays the current state of all processes. For 4 more processes, press the key 3 more than once.




The values indicated are: PROCESS:STATE

01:00 indicates process 1 has state 00.
6.4.6.5 Long-click 4
Press and hold key 4. This displays which base station the handset is locked to. To deactivate this function long press key 4 for more than once.




The values indicated are:

1 0E 8201 This is the last 24 bits of RFPI for traffic bearer.
2 -34 The field strength of traffic bearer is -34 dBm.
3 s8201 8201 is the last 16 bits of RFPI for sync bearer.
4 Bars Field strength bar.

The characters a-f can appear after the RFPI of the traffic and sync bearer indicating that the roaming has been started for different purposes.

If no active traffic bearer is active, the display will look like this:




6.4.6.6 Long-click 5
Press and hold key 5. This displays queue information.




The values indicated are:

1 FQxx Displays the number of fast queues used. First row shows the maximum number used since the startup. Second row shows the number currently used.
2 Sxx Shows the number of slow queues used.
3 Dxx Shows the number of deferred queues used.

6.4.6.7 Long-click 6
Press and hold key 6. This displays carrier slot used by traffic and sync. bearer.




The values indicated are:

1 Sxx First row shows the state of the traffic bearer. Second row shows state of the sync. bearer.
2 Cxx First row shows the carrier used by the traffic bearer. Second row displays the carrier used by the sync. bearer.
3 SLxx First row shows the slot used by the traffic bearer. Second row shows slot used by sync. bearer.

6.4.6.8 Long-click 7
Press and hold key 7. This displays information about latest restart and reset. This information will not be valid if the battery has been removed. XFF is shown in the display to indicate that the information is valid.




The values indicated are:

1 E1F Event processed when doing resetr.
2 R93 Reset reason.
3 XFF Indicates that current display is valid. Any other value means it is invalid.
4 C57 Reset counter. Incremented once for every reset.
5 P02 Active process when reset.
6 S09 State of the active process during reset.

6.4.6.9 Long-click 8
Press and hold key 8. This shows counters for SMS messages.




The values indicated are:

1 E0000 Number of SMS submits from handset that was not receiving an SMS-submit-report. If repetitions are used, then it shows number of SMS submits that was not receiving SMS-submit-report after all repetitions.
2 IM0000 Number of SMS messages to the handset.
3 S0000 Number of SMS-submits from handset including repetitions.
4 SR0000 Number of SMS-submit-report to handset.

One more long press of 8 shows more variables:

Press and hold key 0. This displays info when roaming and monitoring dummy bearers.




The values indicated are:

1 Pxx ptmarm_primary_ref_nr.
2 Sxx ptmarm_secondary_ref_nr.
3 Nxx ptmarm_nr_syncs_to_traffic.
4 Rxx xxmarm_rssi_carrier.
5 Fxxxxxxx ptmarm_flag_1,2,3,4.
6 Sxx ptmarmstate.

6.4.6.12 Long-click 1 followed by long click 0.
This displays flags in the Call Controller.




The values indicated are:

6.4.6.13 Long-click 1 followed by long click 2.
This displays counters for location registration.




The values indicated are:

1 LR Number of location registrations since startup.
2 ER Number of "external roamings".
3 NOSYS Number of times the handset lost lock to system.

6.4.6.14 Long-click 1 followed by long click 3.
This displays information about roaming.




The values indicated are:

1 Lxx Number of entries in the Load list.
2 Pxx Number of times the handset failed to roam using PARI information.
3 Sxx Number of times the handset failed to roam using PARI and SARI information.
4 Sxx Number of times the handset started to roam without any primary sync. active.
5 Fxx Number of times the handset failed to roam without any primary sync. active.
6 Dxx Number of times the handset moved primary sync. while roaming.

6.4.6.15 Long-click 1 followed by long click 5.
This displays information about timers.




The values indicated are:

1 Fxx Number of fast timers used. First row shows the maximum number used since startup. Second row shows the number currently used.
2 Mxx Number of medium timers used. First row shows the maximum number used since startup. Second row shows the number currently used.
3 Sxx Number of slow timers used. First row shows the maximum number used since startup. Second row shows the number currently used.

6.4.6.16 Long-click 1 followed by long click 6.
This displays information about message pool.




The values indicated are:

1 Axx Number of A-messages used. First row shows the maximum number used since startup. Second row shows the number currently used.
2 Bxx Number of B-messages used. First row shows the maximum number used since startup. Second row shows the number currently used.
3 Cxx Number of C-messages used. First row shows the maximum number used since startup. Second row shows the number currently used.

6.4.6.17 Long-click 2 followed by long click 0.
This displays flags in the call controller.




The values indicated are:

2:xx = ptnwcc_flags_2.
3:xx = ptnwcc_flags_3.
1 2:xx ptnwcc_flags_2.
2 3:xx ptnwcc_flags_3.

Just program a Hotkey with a shortcut to the function "RSSI measurement". Then press and hold the the key for activating the DCA function.
