Hi All,

what groups can stop/start services on a DC? I thought Server Operators could but they get access denied, I do not want to use any admin account if possible...

On a DC requires Domain Admin. Server operators should work on member servers.

I hope you find this post helpful.

Regards,

Mark

I found out that you can set it up through group policy but your right, by default only admins can sop/start services on a DC but server operators can reboot a machine which i think is more dangerous than allowing a user to control the services.
