DC resource records not registered after domain upgrade

I have a plan to upgrade NT4 domain to Server 2003 AD. Here is what i did in my test lab.
1. Install one fresh NT4 BDC with DNS server installed, promote it to PDC.
2. Isolate the PDC and do the in-place upgrade to Server 2003.

After the upgrade, i found the resource records of DC didn't register in the DNS Server. Is there anyone can help me ?
