Does anyone know of a registry setting that can prevent AD safely prevent AD replication during a Disaster recovery testing process. ??

thanks in advance
Nels

I've never heard of any settings that will stop AD replication..

Because of this our approach is to disconnect the link from our DR site to our production network.

As we use pluggable disks we first remove one mirrored disk so no matter what changes we make to AD under DR conditions we can return to the original setup. At the end of the test we remove the disk we have been making changes on, reinsert the disk we removed at the beginning of the week and reboot the DC. We bring the link back up and it resynchronises with it's partners.

Not sure if that helps in your situation though....
