dbwr_io_slaves is less CPU intensive than multiple DB writers, so if you are not doing much writing, (static DB) they save CPU resources, even though they are less capible.

And of course, if you can't use mutltiple DB writers (no asynchronous I/O) they are the best choice in any case.

I tried to remain child-like, all I acheived was childish.
