Accpac 5.3, Pervasive 9. I am trying to create a new database. After I create the P.SQL database, and then go to create the Accpac Database Setup, I get the following error: Damaged Data. dbsetup. Create applications table. Data dictionary is inconsistent. I see that Accpac is trying to create the DATADICT.DAT file. Any thoughts on a resolution?

Got it! You need to create the Pervasive database from with the Accpac Database Setup, NOT from Pervasive. Accpac will create the data folder, Pervasive data files and the ODBC connection. Ahh, been a long time since I had to do that. This old stuff!
