My voice mail has suddenly decided that it does not recognize 10 or so extensions which have had mailboxes since the system was first installed.

When I go through the maintenance (via telephone) and try to add these mailboxes, the system tells me the extension does not exist. Each extension that the VM says does not exist can be called and show no signs of trouble except that the mailboxes are gone.

I do not have the admin software for the voice mail and have not made any recent changes to the voice mail or PBX except for trying to re-add the mailboxes that have disappeared.

The VM is the IFM4 card voice mail.

Any thoughts?

dont rule out hacking there are a lot of geeks
out there with loads of time on there hands
try john communicatortel hey maybe able to hook you
up!!you are going to find that those mailboxes have been manully deleted!

I actually found the s/w and accessed the voicemail. When I added the mailboxes that had been deleted, everything was still there. All the messages, all recordings, etc.

Two days later, some of the mailboxes I re-added went missing again. Rebuilt those and all was well again. Changed the admin pass from default to be sure and have not had the problem since. Looks like you may be right. Bloody hackers.
