DBS set type question

I have a small DBS system I'm working on. Someone set it up with 2 voicemail ports (digital, not analog), that go into some converter I'm guessing (but don't have the part number handy) then into a TVS50 voicemail. When you call the voicemail you get a display telling you the extension number, 24 & 25. So when you hit 24 the voice mail answers, when you hit 25 it does not. I hear a clicking in the system when calling 24 not 25. I think that is a relay doing rining voltage but not sure. Is this some sore of set type issue? I did check they are both set to "3rd party voicemail" or something like that I don't remember exactly. That port will run a system phone that seem to work fine.

it sounds like it may be in your analog adapter!!
is it an actual panasonic DBS product?

It is a pnasonic product but I could not find any info about it.
It's a PB1974AJ, what seems like a doughter card on it PB1947BJ. I don't remember which card was the doughter card, but that it the two part #'s I found. Maybe it's wired right I don't know. It has 4 RJ11 jacks on it. Someone has wired 2 lines on 1 cord going in to one of the jacks that say to KSU, then 2 lines one one cord out to the voicemail.

Maybe it's one line per jack? I'm not sure if it ever worked. No one knows.

Why would the system click when one port is being called & not the other? I know that thing is smart. If you call a port with no phone it gives a fast bussy. could this be the cause?
