DBMGR error

When i try to run either the check, repair, or pack utilities in DBMGR, I get an error saying
"Incompatible Dictionary File" and it won't perform the utility. Any ideas on what the cause could be? I'm using the native database.

You should use the command line version of the utilities - you didn't mention which version of Arcserve you run, but I will include links for what I know about.
