As entertained as I was by the exchange in the above thread, I just wanted to point out something. In all the back and forth about who hurt whoms feelings, no one seems to have bothered to actually look at the issue. There is an existing issue with 1416 sets connected to a DBM32 (using the 1151/2 power supply as indicated or not indicated[bigsmile]) where the set does not recognize the sidecar. This can occur on installation or upon an unplug/plug scenario as happens often when sets are relocated. This was supposed to be addressed in phone R4, but is still occuring. Doesn't happen much in IPO, but seems to be prevalent in CM. The basic issue is that the 14xx set is crap. If your customer wants digital sets, go with 24xx refurbs. Even used 64xx with broken screen lifts work better than the 14xx.
