I'm trying to add some DBMs to some 1416. I've got PSUs and the lights on the DBM will light up when the 1416 gets plugged in, but the phone system never sees it and I can't program it. Is there a firmware mismatch or something that I'm missing? Next week we'll be upgrading from CM6 to CM10.1 and I'm wondering if the new vendor will have to help me or if I've almost got it. I've added these before and I thought that you just plug it in, reboot the phone, and then program it up.

In the first page/tab of station information is the 'number' of button modules from 0 to 3. Was this filled in?

What do you mean "phone system never sees it". The system never detects the BM. You have to set the # of expansion modules on the 1st page of the station form.

I knew I was missing something stupid. This is what I needed. Thank you. I risked looking stupid online and saved myself looking stupid to the on-site tech next week. Again, thanks.
