Hi there,
I've been using DBLoad to get production snapshots into my development environment for debugging etc. Recently snapshots are not working... the fail at or near the end of the DBLoad run with thw following two messages:

INSERT (error=108, native code = 1105)
InkClose (ec=49153)

I can still load my older snapshots.

Accpac 5.5
production is SQL Server 2005
development is SQL Server 2005 express edition

Any ideas?

To answer my own question...

SQLEXPRESS limits my per DB size to 4GB which I have apparently just edged past.

From my application event log "CREATE DATABASE or ALTER DATABASE failed because the resulting cumulative database size would exceed your licensed limit of 4096 MB per database."

To get around the db size limit you can delete some .REC files in the dump folder, the dbload will create empty tables for those .REC files that have been deleted. You can delete some of the audit files like OEAUD*.*, just look for large .REC files and figure out which ones are the posting journal tables.
Normally you would not do this, but this is a test system right.

Super! That buys me a good bit of time. Thanks Ettienne!

You can also get a developer edition of SQL for about $99 on Amazon. It's a full featured 1 seat license of SQL server. It's what I use on my laptop.

Thanks Django - I've starting evaluating the change to SQLSERVER 2008 so I might buy the dev version of that if it comes down to it. Great tip!
