DBgrid using buttonclick problems with last row

I am using an unbound dbgrid and am having problems using the buttonclick event. It works except in the last row, sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. Whenever the user is in the last row and clicks on the button, the current row move to the first row. So the item selected from the combo box is written to the first row but it is really suppose to go to the last row. The grid has about 10 visible rows. It works on the last until there is more than 10 records.
