DBCHECK Utility not working - AS2K on WINNT4 2

I've gone about running the Dbcheck Utility from the Command prompt and received the following :
Failed to log into server'arcserve;admin:secret',username'admin':error -2005

I am using the correct username and password and the ARCServe Database engine and service is running (I even stopped and started the AS Database service/engine.

I urgently need some help in sorting this as the Database is 2.2GB and RISING.

Dont give your Username & Password..

DBCHECK won't free up space anyway - you need DBDEFRAG for that and the utility doesn't work. Quickest way is just to initialise the ASTPSDAT database within the Server Admin utility, you will have to merge tape information in before you can restore (file level restores anyhow) after doing this though.

Do you also have pruning scheduled daily?
