I need to do some queries against shared dBase IV files.

I'm doing something wrong.... I'm trying to use an ADODB connection....

Does anyone have any examples of how to do this? They are just .DBF files, but like I said, they're shared (I need to do customer queries against our accounting system).

Any code examples would be awesome.

Thanks in advance!

So this is weird.... I wrote the first function, and that works fine.

Then, I wrote the second function, and I'm getting "Unexpected error from external database driver (10019)"

Exactly the same code and connection string... just opening a different DBF... it's weird.

More Information:

Evidently, the 10019 is a "Translation Error - Value out of Bounds" from dbase.

Still looking into it......
