Dbase for windows 5.0 - distributable applications

In the manuals short reference is made to distributable applications. Do I need a special compiler to do this for dBase for windows (for Dbase 4.2 DOS i had to buy a compiler a compiler).

The information re DDL's and DDE's suggests that all i have to do is compile and distribute the ddl and dde files in addition to any .dbf, .ndx etc. am i on the right road here?

What about changing to dBase SE which includes a compiler and will change the application to 32-bit code? Have a look at
