I am writing some Crystal XI reports for an applicatiion, written in Delphi using DBase files. One file causes a problem and, on further investigation, it appears that it is a DBase7 file (I think the others are DBase 4).

Without going into the specific problem too much, one solution would be to convert this file back to DBase4.

I tried opening it in EXCEL so I could save it as DBase 4, but EXCEL doesn't like it either.

Does anyone knmow if it is possible to convert DBase files backwards? The application itseld does'nt care, I'm assured.
