I want to connect to a database with dbaccess with the command prompt and I don't know how make it.

I have Informix 7.3 in a NT 4.0 environment

hi,

You can access the database by the following at the command prompt:

dbaccess testdb -

The database testdb will selected and you get a chance to pass the SQL statements to the server. Terminate each statement with a semicolon. Press interrupt key (Ctrl-C) to come out.

Hello everybody,

I have posted a FAQ to this Forum under the subject Database Access (DB-Access) titled IBM Informix DB-Access Usage Enhancer for Windows-2000. This script can be used for running SQL commands at windows command prompt.
