Hi!

I am trying to take some courses for the SQL server 2000 DBA.
Is the tranact-SQL a query SQL for the SQL Server??

Here are my three choices for the courses.
MS SQL 2000 DBA
SQL 2000 DTS
Transact-SQL Programming

what do you think?
ANy advise will be appreciated.
Thanks.

Transact SQL is a dialect of T-SQL written by Sybase.
Outside of minor syntax changes, and variables, they are IDENTICAL. They refer to the same thing as Oracles very different PL-SQL offering. It is a database programming language written mainly for stored procedures.

If you have to ask this question though, it may be a good idea to getsome real success under your belt before trying to get a job.
