Hi,
I want to calculate Average Disk use and Peak Disk Use (by AMP) from the ResUsage Tables. Currently, I see this information in PMON, but the graph is momentary. I like to trend this data for a period of time, say like a month.

If anybody can help me calculate this information (like a formulae or something) from the resusage table that will be great.

Thanks in advance.

Hi,
Assuming you got the latest version of Teradata Manager... It's possible to cature this data from "Session Information" by using the "Log to File" option.

This will save details about jobs currently running throughout the day depending on the refresh settings on Session Information.

Then, using you can import this data into a spreadsheet, normalise it and then analyse the PMON like data as much as you like.

Alternatively, talk to your NCR people about getting yourself on the next performance training session run by Larry Higa.

Roger...
