I've got 4 files in Dbase3 that I've had since Win95; now on Win2k. I can get to one file fine; can change, save, whatever. The other 3 give the error "file is not accessible". Has anyone else seen/rectified this problem?

Make sure you have rights to the file location.

Make sure the programs do not try to write to the root drive (such as C:\) if you do not have administrator rights.

Make sure that if you copied them to a CD in order to transfer them to your new computer, then you should open a command prompt or DOS window and run ATTRIB -R *.* on that directory in order to remove the read-only flags that files written to CDs will have.

Let us know if any of this helps. If those pointers don't apply, you will have to give more details.
