Hello BigA1,
As far as I know version 7.1 was very soon followed with version 7.2. The service pack 6 sounds very much like the service pack of the NT operating system, which is at the 6 level. T. Blom

the db2level command will tell you which version of db2 you are running. fyi - you need to apply fixpack 3 to v7.1 code to get to the v7.2 level - after that you can skip fixpacks and apply fp 6 if you'd like to do that - the fp's are cumulative within a release.
