I was trying to install DB2 version 8.1 on my PC. Then I was trying to create the sample database but I was unable to do it because I got the following error message everytime I tried. The error message was: "'SQL1092N' 'Username' does not have the authority to peform the requested command"

By the way, when I installed DB2 I used the same username that I use to log on to my PC.

Any one can help me with this issue.

Thanks in advanced

AFAIK default sysadmin authentication is 'DB2ADMIN'. Since DB2 uses the authentication from operating system I would try to create a windows user DB2ADMIN to create sample database.......
