db2 syncpoint error

Hi folks:

i am running a server nt 4 with db2 v6
In the app log (event viewer) this message is always
present: PROBE 10 - SPM 0448 db2 syncpoint manager recovery log is bad

Any way, the database works fine and no problems so far with
other applications (we got also websphere 3.5)

any susggestions ??

sorry for the duplication.

SPM0438 DB2 Syncpoint Manager recovery log is bad.

Explanation: The DB2 Syncpoint Manager recovery log is inconsistent and cannot be used to perform recovery during DB2 start up processing.

User Response: Indoubt transactions may exist at DRDA2 application servers. These indoubt transactions must be recovered manually.

Call the database administrator.

Database Administrator Action: To start the Syncpoint Manager, erase the spmlog directory and start DB2. This will cause DB2 to create new syncpoint log files and to establish cold start connections with all DRDA2 application servers.
