Under DB2 Control Center in the list of systems I'm trying to progromatically change the system name to match the New PC DB2 package is installed on. As it stands now, every system I install the DB2 package on has the name of the PC I used to package the software.

Under DB2 Control Center when I try to change the system object name to match whatever PC name I install it on, I get the following message.

DBA1501 The local system object is not allowed to be changed.

Has anyone packaged DB2 successfully and found a way to script changing this name?

thanks
