db2 log backup and status 54

[smicro]

Master server aix 5.3 veritas 6.5 mp2 client aix 5.3 veritas 6.5.1 and db2. Getting some timeout errors(status 54 and 25) on DB2 log backups. Not occuring on the flat file or db2 database backups just on some db2 vendor log backups and the job will rerun and complete successful. Found this in bpdb2 log on client.Has anyone seen this or know whats going on? Thanks.
