DB2 File Extension...

Hi Guys and Gals,

I need a question answered and before I say anything, I would like to point out that I am not a DB guy and know nuts about DB2.
My only question is: what are the file extensions for DB2 files. I'm talking log files, data files, any other files which contain critical data.

This is because I need to write a script to copy these files to another server and perform a backup operation on it. I need to do this manually as I am using plain ole UNIX commands and not some new fangled backup utility. Please help.

The way you are trying to do is not supported way of doing a db2 database backup ... The only supported (and hence the documented) method is to use the db2 backup command
