Hi there,

We have to build a proof of concept showing integration between DB2 and SAP R/3. We have build a working model using point to point integration, but the customer now requested that we make use of SeeBeyond. We have installed eGate 4.5.3, the Merant ODBC drivers, DB2 7.2 and tried to implement the sample scenario in the "e*Way Intelligent Adapter for DB2 Universal Database User’s Guide" (part of the documentation). We keep on getting the following error:

FileIn (Fatal): JMS Exception: Error Code: 0x80040303, Error Message: Connection attempts to server exceeded retry count. Error 10061 (Connection refused)

The command used to run the schema is:
stccb -ln gandalf_cb -rh gandalf -rs DBSelect -un Administrator -up STC

We have severe time pressures so any help will be most welcome.

Thank you

More info required.
Turn up the logging (switch on flags for DB and DBV).

R you using JMS queue? If i understand correctly,
right click and JMS queue for properties, click start up tab and check for

1) No of retries
2) Retries interval time.

The imp thing is, check the port number and host name of JMS queue and see whether you are connecting to same port number and host.

Info: U can give your own port numbers(eg: 24550).
